Identifying Methodological Errors in Research is an interactive course of more than 7 hours led by Prof. Eyad Qunaibi & Dr. Ayman Al-Qannah, focused on building practical critiquing skills through the analysis of real and simulated research scenarios. Participants learn to identify common design and methodological errors, understand how they distort research results, and apply feasible solutions. The course also demonstrates how to use AI as a structured assistant in detecting methodological issues while critically verifying its output.

Meet Your Instructors

Prof. Eyad Qunaibi

A Professor of Pharmacology and a leading specialist in the field, graduating first in his class from JUST and earning his Ph.D. from the University of Houston with research at the Texas Medical Center - USA. With over 20 years of academic and research experience, he holds two wound-healing patents and has Tens of publications with about 1000 citations. He reviewed the renowned Lippincott’s Pharmacology Reviews (7th ed.) and authored the illustrated student guide PharmMedTerm.

Dr. Ayman Al-Qannah

a pharmaceutical scientist and expert consultant for the United States Pharmacopeia (USP), serving as an academic editor for the Q1 journal PLOS ONE. A certified medical statistician, he is also an international examiner for TSHP and ASHP, and an active member of key organizations including ASPEN, the Royal Society of Chemistry, and the Clinical Pharmacogenetics Implementation Consortium (CPIC). He sits on multiple editorial boards, reviews for numerous scientific journals, and has authored 49 publications and three book chapters.
